This is basically a work-in-progress demo album of metal songs I’ve been working on recent years. Especially the last song still needs quite a lot re-recording. All of the songs probably need at least better mixes too, but this’ll do for now… Future plans are unsure since I am already on my limits with bass guitar playing and mixing, but those areas still need polishing. This year I planned to do more songs and there is still at least one song to record yet. Even though I am behind my goals I might move on to do electronic music instead for a change or something. Next year I’ll see.
I’ve used drum samples mostly from http://www.naturaldrum.com/ and kick triggers from https://badracket.com/free-drum-samples-trigger-wavs/
Bass guitar and distortion patches are made by Fluffy (on Tonelib GFX software). Synth patches are made by myself with VCV Rack, Helm, Korg R3, Novation Summit, and Roland Fantom X8. Bass Jouhikko was also played on Roihu. As usual, Ardour is my go-to DAW for (crappy) mixing/mastering, and MIDI programming was additionally done with Muse3 and Rosegarden as well.
